Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia—three of the top four teams from the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games—will headline the historic debut of blind football at the 2026 Valledupar II Parasur American Games. The tournament, which will award a direct spot at the 2027 Parapan American Games in Lima, will be held from July 9 to 15 at the Agustín Codazzi sub-venue and will determine the champion of this sport in the history of this multisport event.

The sub-venue of the Paralympic multi-sport event is finalizing logistical and infrastructure conditions to host the best exponents of this sport in South America, who -under the regulations of the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA)-, will compete for the gold medal, the title and the Parasuramerican glory.

Soccer for the blind will bring together 60 Para athletes from six countries who will compete from July 9 to 15 at the Parasuramerican field of the Agustin Codazzi Sports Village, official sub-venue of the II Parasuramerican Games in history.
