Universidad Popular del Cesar and Colombian Paralympic Committee sign cooperation agreement for the development of the Valledupar 2026 Parasuramerican Games.
The framework cooperation agreement that strengthens the institutional articulation to ensure the success of the Justas, includes the use of UPC scenarios for Para swimming, Para powerlifting and boccia competitions, as well as academic, research and cultural actions around the event. The alliance seeks to consolidate the social and sports legacy for the region and the country.

AmPC representatives arrived in the host city to evaluate infrastructure, accessibility and accommodation service providers that will host the 1,120 Para athletes during the Games to be held from July 5 to 16, 2026. The review leaves a positive balance and marks the beginning of a new operational phase in the organization of the multi-sport games.
