In the II Parasuramerican Games Valledupar 2026, wheelchair basketball will gather 144 Para athletes from 6 countries per branch (male and female), who will compete from July 4 to 9 at the Basketball Coliseum of the Unidad Deportiva La Gota Fría. With two titles in dispute, the competition promises intense duels where speed, coordination and teamwork will be the real protagonists.
International Wheelchair Basketball Technical Delegate approves Cold Drop Coliseum for Valledupar 2026

Sileno Santos, president of Competitions of the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF Americas), highlighted the suitability of the Gota Fria Basketball Coliseum and the technical details of the competition by the technical sports area of the organization. Valledupar will host the male and female wheelchair competitions, events to be held between July 4 and 9, 2026, with the participation of 144 Para athletes.
