Agustín Codazzi, September 4, 2026. Agustín Codazzi, sub venue of the II Parasuramerican Games Valledupar 2026, presented the volunteer program for the games, which seeks to integrate all the communities of this municipality to be part of this continental multisport festival. The event, which was attended by various sectors, authorities and the people of Codacan, showed the great enthusiasm and good atmosphere that is lived for the realization of the jousts.
In any multi-sport event, volunteering is considered one of the most important aspects of the Games Services area. For the Games to be held from July 5 to 16, 2026, 120 volunteers are required in the Agustín Codazzi sub-venue, who will be supporting the different operational areas of the competition.
To be a volunteer of the II Parasuramerican Games, it is required to be over 18 years old, register in the program module available in the Games web portal: www.parasuramericanos2026.com, fulfill the accreditable training plan to obtain general knowledge about movement and Paralympic sports, use of inclusive language, particularities of the event and -once the volunteers are selected-, attend the basic and specific inductions that the different areas will offer.

The departmental road known as ‘La Palizada’ in a circuit of almost 10 kilometers was the stage approved by the UCI for the development of the competitions of Road and Individual Time Trial (CRI) of the Paracycling of the II Parasuramerican Games of the sport history. In this sub-venue during three days of action, from July 4 to 6, 45 of the best representatives of Para cycling in South America will pedal, who will seek to establish new records and achieve sporting glory for their countries.
Also, in blind soccer, three of the four best teams in the world: Brazil, Argentina and Colombia, semifinalists of the last Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, will be participating for the title and the medal that will be disputed in the Parasuramerican Games in 2026. The Sports Village of the Agustin Codazzi sub-site was the stage for the development of one of the thirteen sports of the games, which will bring six countries and 60 of the best players in the world, who will be active from July 9 to 15, date on which the new monarch of this sport in the 2026 Parasuramerican Games will be known.
