Valledupar, February 5, 2026. The organization of the Parasuramerican Games Valledupar 2026 informed the dates of the accreditation process for media and journalists who wish to make the official coverage of the multisport event.
The process is aimed at national and international media, including radio, television, print media, digital platforms and institutions. In the case of international media, they must attach a letter of validation issued by the National Paralympic Committee of their respective country, while Colombian media must submit the certificate of existence and legal representation with an issue not older than 30 days, or a letter signed by the director of the media that supports their participation.
The first phase of the process corresponds to the registration of the press media and the request of quotas, according to the roles available for the coverage of the event. This stage will be available from March 16, 2026 at 00:00 hours until April 12, 2026 at 23:59 hours, period during which the media must fill out the registration form and attach the required documentation, through a link provided on the games portal.

Once the media’s application is approved, the second phase will proceed from April 20 to May 31, 2026, in which the media, -once approved- must nominally register its press team, entering the personal data of each professional who will cover the Games, taking into account the quotas approved by the organizing committee in phase #1.
Finally, from April 20 to June 7, the third phase of the process will be developed, which corresponds to the organizing committee, being the stage in which it will review one by one the registrations made by the media and will approve or reject the registration of the personnel, according to the criteria of the sub-direction of communications of the Games. Only if the person is approved will he/she be able to obtain accreditation.
.
National and international sports federations, as well as Pan American confederations, must also comply with the established requirements, attaching a letter of authorization signed by their president. All applications will be evaluated according to the guidelines defined for the accreditation process by the organizing committee.

The director of the Valledupar 2026 Parasuramerican Games, Elmer Jimenez Silva, highlighted the importance of this service (accreditation) aimed at providing the best attention to the national and international press that will cover the multisport event. “We want the media and journalists to feel all the support of the organization to facilitate the important work they do, giving visibility and informing the world of everything that will happen in Valledupar and Agustin Codazzi, from the II Parasuramerican Games in history, that is why the commitment forces us to establish an easy, orderly, but very rigorous process, adjusted to international standards in terms of accreditation to journalists, “concluded Jimenez.
