The road to the Valledupar 2026 Parasuramerican Games continues to be strengthened through technical training. As part of the sporting legacy component of the event, the call for the Basic Table Tennis Referee course is open, an initiative aimed at strengthening local judging and consolidating installed capacity in the department of Cesar.

The program endorsed by the Colombian Table Tennis Federation (FCTM) will be developed in classroom mode at the Popular University of Cesar (UPC), a university institution that has an agreement signed with the Colombian Paralympic Committee to strengthen sports development and the organization of Valledupar 2026. The training of this course includes 16 academic hours distributed between theory and practice, and will conclude with a final exam that will define the approval and official certification of the participants.

As for the official fees established by the FCTM, the general value of the course is $139,000 Colombian pesos (COP), while the differential fee for women is $69,500 COP, a special price that responds to the policy of promoting female participation in sports judging. Payment must be made at the Davivienda bank, savings account DAMAS No. 005000368711, in the name of the Colombian Table Tennis Federation, NIT 890.106.273-1.

From the organization of Valledupar 2026 it has been reiterated that these training processes not only respond to an operational need of the event, but aim to leave a sustainable legacy in the territory, providing tools to coaches, athletes, students, sports promoters and citizens interested in this sport.
