“This event is a valuable opportunity for students and sports professionals to be updated on the latest trends in Paralympic training and be committed to inclusion, equity in sport, more in the framework of our multisport fairs, which are a social project of city, region and country,” said Elmer Jimenez Silva, director of Parasuramerican Games Valledupar 2026.








The program of the event included conferences such as: ‘The role of educational institutions in the promotion of the Decade of Sport’ by Marco Antonio Cruz, ‘Situational analysis in the context of the organization of sporting events’ by David Gomez, deputy technical director of the Parasuramerican Games, and the paper ‘Beyond the stopwatch: how to form an international technical delegate’ presented by Giovany Cardona, International Technical Delegate of World Para Athletics for Valledupar 2026. In addition, the conference ‘Missional role of higher education institutions in sport’ was addressed by Jhonny Arroyo, director of the Sports Coaching program at the Universidad del Área Andina.
