During his visit to Valledupar, the international technical delegate of World Para Athletics, Giovanni Cardona Gómez, officially endorsed the José Luis Parada Athletics Stadium, located in the La Gota Fría High Performance Sports Unit, the venue where the Para athletics competitions of the Parasuramerican Games will be held from July 12 to 15, 2026.
